The number of Nevada trademark applications filed in April increased 13.0% to 486. This is a 22.4% increase from April 2013. The number of Nevada trademarks that were registered in April increased 39.8% to 274. This is a 2.2% increase from April 2013.
Definitions
Nevada trademark applications are applications that have been filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and that are owned by entities that have a Nevada address. Once a Nevada trademark application has been examined and approved and all requirements have been satisfied, it becomes a Nevada registered trademark.
