The number of Nevada trademark applications filed in February decreased 8.4%, from the month before, to 373. This is a 5.9% increase from February 2013. The number of Nevada trademarks that were registered in February decreased 12.6%, from the month before, to 160. This is a 10.3% decrease from February 2013.
Definitions
Nevada trademark applications are applications that have been filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and that are owned by entities that have a Nevada address. Once a Nevada trademark application has been examined and approved and all requirements have been satisfied, it becomes a Nevada registered trademark.
