The number of Nevada trademark applications filed in March increased 15.3% to 430. This is a 11.7% increase from March 2013. The number of Nevada trademarks that were registered in March increased 22.5% to 196. This is a 24.8% increase from March 2013.
Definitions
Nevada trademark applications are applications that have been filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and that are owned by entities that have a Nevada address. Once a Nevada trademark application has been examined and approved and all requirements have been satisfied, it becomes a Nevada registered trademark.
