The number of Nevada trademark applications filed in May decreased 3.8% to 468. This is a 15% increase from May 2013. The number of Nevada trademarks that were registered in May decreased 26% to 203. This is a 10% increase from May 2013.
Definitions
Nevada trademark applications are applications that have been filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and that are owned by entities that have a Nevada address. Once a Nevada trademark application has been examined and approved and all requirements have been satisfied, it becomes a Nevada registered trademark.
